Leningrad regional oncology centre was opened in 1951. In 2003, its capacity was increased by opening a dispensary in Kuzmolovo. In 2017, a decision was made to develop the oncological dispensary and build new units.

RCRI operating theater is a training ground for highly qualified oncology surgeons. Up to 10,000 surgeries are performed in the surgical unit each year.

The recovery and rehabilitation center features a variety of rehabilitation techniques, such as hydrotherapy, water and mud therapy, work therapy, physical therapy and a swimming pool. The clinic also houses a laboratory unit, several floors occupied by an inpatient unit, a polyclinic, a disinfection unit and a functional diagnostics unit (CT, MRI, X-ray).

The centre has laboratories for nanotechnology, nanobiotechnology, nanophotonics, renewable energy sources, and epitaxial nanotechnology.

Cell Technology Centre at the Institute of Cytology of the Russian Academy of Sciences is equipped with a GMP-compliant laboratory. The objectives of the laboratory are development, standardisation, production and implementation into practical medicine of innovative cell products in accordance with national and international GMP, GLP and GCP standards.
