Unicosmetik is one of Russia's top ten cosmetic companies and produces hair care products under the Estel brand. The brand produces hair lightening powders, dyes and alcohol-based liquid products.

The new production facility in Kolpino will produce ingredients and hair care products containing ethanol. The company is planning to boost its market share through full-cycle production and recoup its investment in the new construction within three years.

We have been working with Unicosmetics for a long time. The company decided to reorganise the manufacture of products with ethanol content. Our task was to install a tank for 10,000 litres of ethanol which includes arranging technological processes, selecting and installing the machinery.

The equipment for manufacture and packaging of products with low ethanol content was located in common production halls and connected with the required technological pipelines – for raw materials, for semi-products, finished products (including viscous products), auxiliary substances and waste.

For the manufacture of explosive products with high ethanol content, a separate room with the most stringent safety solutions was dedicated. We have designed the process in such a way that no sparks can form in the room while working with the equipment and explosive substances.
